Meet the Owner
Thomas Porter, largest Zibastone retailer in the nation has deep roots in the competitive dance and pageant world. With over 19 years of experience in the competitive dance circuit, his journey began at Linda Diamonds Academy of Dance and he has trained in the genres of jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and ballet. Tommy has won many regional and national honors such as West Coast Dance Explosion Mr. Dance and Elite Dancer, NUVO Break-Out Artist, NYCDA Triple Threat,
Mr. Dance Xplosion, and Mr. Starpower. Upon graduating from Canfield High School, Porter enrolled at Ohio University where he was elected president of the School of Dance. He was a three-year member and two-time captain choreographer of the national qualifying Ohio Bobcat Dance Team. Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and he is the only studio director in the Tri-County area with a dance degree. Most recently, Porter has taught in the Visual and Performing Arts School at Chaney High School and Choffin Career and Technical Center. He also choreographs for multiple area dance teams and travels worldwide as a competitive judge with Starpower Talent, Starpower International, and Revolution Talent Competition. Owning a studio has always been a dream and he cannot believe it became a reality. His dancers compete in several national and international dance pageants, making him the ideal retailer for the industry, along with prom, pageants and social occasions.
